Walk Through
A Fresh Start for a Well-Loved Home
This home already had a lot going for it — great layout, plenty of space, and a family that loved living there. But like a lot of homes built in the early 2000s, the finishes hadn’t aged well. The rooms felt darker than they needed to. The design choices didn’t reflect the people living in it anymore. It just needed a reset.
We worked with the homeowners to bring in more light, simplify the palette, and make each space feel clean, useful, and welcoming. Nothing too flashy — just thoughtful changes that made a big impact. One of the biggest upgrades was adding an outswing bifold door that opened the entire living area to the backyard, instantly connecting the inside and outside and flooding the space with natural light.
And the best part? We’re not done yet. The next phase of this project includes building a brand-new 280 sq ft bedroom with an en suite bathroom, giving the family more space and flexibility to grow.
