Job Title: Construction Estimator
Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Overview:
We are a dynamic Residential and Commercial Construction company in Phoenix seeking a skilled
Construction Estimator with a focus on sales to join our team. The ideal candidate should should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction space, have administrative experience in construction, excel in a fast-paced team environment, and demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and sales skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-home visits, gathering project details, measurements, and creating rough scale drawings.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of estimates and proposals.
  • Prepare, review, and present estimates to clients.
  • Provide conceptual guidance to customers and design team.
  • Participate in estimate reviews and presentations.
  • Analyze subcontractor and material quotes for project requirements.
  • Communicate with customers regarding pricing, options, and change orders.
  • Write estimates and follow up with customers throughout the sales and project process.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Prior sales experience and knowledge of sales and marketing techniques.
  • Ability to utilize technology for estimating and contract production.
  • Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Professional Estimator or Associate Estimator Professional preferred.
  • 2 years of construction estimating experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction terminology and processes.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, One Drive.
  • Experience interpreting architectural drawings and computing estimates.
  • Ability to assemble quotation proposals with detailed product information and documentation.

Typical Day:

Your day will involve starting at the office to evaluate your schedule and prepare to go into the field. You will then complete pre-scheduled onsite consultations with potential customers. After, you will spend the remainder of your day at the office creating and sending estimates, answering customer questions, and following up with estimates previously sent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting Base Salary of $35,000
Plus Quarterly Bonuses of 3% on revenue collected
