This project came from a family who wanted to bring their mom closer to home and were willing to do what it took to make that happen.
It wasn’t a simple build. Between HOA approvals, permitting challenges, and the realities of a large two-story addition, the process took time and more coordination than anyone expected. There were setbacks along the way, and it required patience on all sides to keep moving forward.
Through it all, the homeowners stayed committed to the goal. They gave the project the time and grace it needed to be done right, even when it wasn’t easy.
In the end, the result is over 1,100 square feet of new living space, including two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a loft, creating a place where their family can stay connected while still having their own space. In the end, the house finally fits how they need to live.
