Not every investment goes according to plan. Sometimes that’s exactly what makes it successful.
When we purchased this fire-damaged home on 17th Drive, the plan was to restore it and add it to our rental portfolio.
After months of demolition, reconstruction, inspections, and bringing the home back to life, the market shifted. Instead of holding it as a rental, we made the decision to sell.
That flexibility is one of the advantages of having real estate, construction, and property management under one roof. We can adjust our strategy based on the market instead of forcing a plan that no longer makes sense.
This project required a complete fire restoration, including structural repairs, smoke damage remediation, new finishes, and bringing the home back to current code. What started as a severely damaged property became a beautiful, move-in-ready home.
Every project teaches us something. This one reinforced the value of having experienced teams working together from acquisition through construction and, ultimately, to the sale of the property.
The before and after photos tell the story better than we ever could.
