This historic home kitchen remodel had plenty of character, but the existing setup was working against it. Tile countertops with an integrated sink, limited workspace, and dated finishes made the space feel cramped and underutilized. The goal was to modernize the kitchen while still respecting the home’s original feel.

We reworked the space to improve function without overcomplicating the footprint, replacing the tile surfaces with clean, durable countertops and upgrading to custom cabinetry that maximizes storage and brings a more tailored look. The backsplash and finishes were kept simple and intentional, creating a brighter, more cohesive feel around the existing window wall.

The result is a kitchen that feels clean, efficient, and in line with the rest of the home. What once felt dated and restrictive now works as a streamlined, functional space, updated in all the right ways while still fitting the character of the house.
