Is an Addition Right for Your Home?

A home addition can completely change the way your home functions without forcing you to move. Whether you need space for family, a home office, a larger kitchen, a guest suite, or room to grow, additions allow you to stay in the neighborhood you love while creating a home that better fits your life.

Common reasons homeowners build additions:

  • Expanding kitchens and living spaces
  • Adding bedrooms or bathrooms
  • Creating guest suites or casitas
  • Building space for aging parents or adult children
  • Adding RV garages or workshops
  • Creating dedicated home offices or gyms
  • Improving long-term property value and functionality

How much does an Addition cost?

Every addition project is different, but these real project examples and cost breakdowns can help give you a better idea of what to expect.

How Our Addition Process Works

STEP 1

FEASIBILITY SURVEY

This is the key to answering the fundamental question: Can we build this?

Cost: For $3,000, here’s what is included:

This is a detailed plan of what your structure currently looks like. With this, we can ensure the addition doesn’t look like an addition, but rather flows into the existing structure.

3D scanning captures incredibly detailed and accurate information about your space. The scan creates a digital model, which can be used for various purposes, from design and planning to documentation and as-built drawings.

This is what your addition will look like when completed and ensures that your vision is translated into a tangible and aesthetically pleasing reality.

Digital pictures of the outside as renovated and is needed for the architectural submittal with most HOA’s.

Setbacks ensure that buildings are positioned at a specified distance from property lines as determined by the city you live in.
